A heartfelt tribute to the late Fr. PJ Kelly — born in Woodford, East Galway in 1926, and a Columban missionary who carried the music of his homeland to Fiji, Australia and Pakistan. His compositions hold a sweet melodic charm and phrasing that is synonymous with East Galway tradition. Máirín on fiddle and Patsy on piano bring these treasured tunes to life in this long-awaited celebration.

About the Artists
Fiddle
Máirín grew up in Ballinakill, East Galway, steeped in a musical tradition that runs through her family. A member of the All-Ireland winning Junior Ballinakill Céilí Band, she was shaped by the music of her aunt Aggie Whyte and the great composers of the region. She later became a featured soloist with Riverdance and toured extensively with the Chieftains. Today she performs in the multi-award-winning show Trad on the Prom at Leisureland Theatre, Galway.
Piano
Patsy grew up in nearby Kilreekil, and like Máirín, was immersed in the vibrant musical life of East Galway from childhood. A lifelong friend and musical partner of Máirín's, she is a member of Gaelforce, Arcady, and the Senior All-Ireland winning Shannon Vale Céilí Band.
